Customer Reviews
Started leaking air just after the 30-day return period passed. Needless to say I won't buy another one of these cheaply made balls.
This ball is great for my workstation. Based on other reviews, I ordered a 65cm expecting to get a 55cm, and I did. But that is the size I need at my desk. It inflated easily, the plug went in smoothly, and it has had excellent air retention. I don't have mine fully inflated for 2 reasons: to allow 90 degrees at my hips and knees with feet flat on the floor (ergonomically correct), and better stability while typing. The sand/weight in the ball makes all the difference for using this at a workstation. I tried co-workers balls without it, and the ball was always rolling away when I stood up, etc. This ball stays put Moves easily to the side to let you get up, then goes back into place.
One of the best things is that there was no funky "plastic" smell to speak of. (for some other balls I looked at, the plastic smell was so strong you didn't even have to open the box to smell it - ugh!)
Just do your research on what size you need. Going by your height alone is dicey, because the length of your legs matters. Best bet is to try one on for size before ordering. If you don't know anybody with one, you can try a local physical therapy office - see if they'll let you come in and sit on a ball :)
